agreed. think 4 more (to go 8-12 in conference play) gets us in. non-conference record too good and conference reputation too strong not to be included at 18-13 against a fierce schedule. looking at the remaining schedule, which is very strong, i do think we can grab 4 more wins even without carton. go 1-1 in the upcoming road games versus ttun and wisky and i'll be extremely happy while considering us ahead of the curve.

imagine getting a 1-seed and seeing osu as your 9. two tournaments ago, osu was deemed a popular first-round upset pick. last year, osu was deemed a surefire first-round exit. this year, though, osu might very well be a cinderella darling. if we get an 8/9/10/11 seed, we're going to be a great value play. i mean, osu could very easily lose their first-round game (obviously), but no one will be wanting to face the buckeyes before the second weekend.

Lemme get a 9-seed in say, 1-seed Gonzaga's region. I still have a strange feeling OSU is going to look better in the tournament than they do currently in the B1G.

If Ohio State wins 5 more games they will be a lock. They would have just 19 wins though not 20. 19-12 then if they drop 1st round conf tournament game they would be 19-13 that be easy lock status.

If they win 4 more games and drop 1st rounder in the conf tournament then your looking at 18-14 and 8-12 in the conf. 8-12 got Ohio State in last year in similar situation.

I think this year they would squeak in as well at 18-14 (8-12) but it be cutting it close.
