2019-2020 College Basketball Discussion (Official Thread)

Ironically there are three players who suited up for OSU in the 2015 win over Kentucky that are still playing college basketball, and none of them are with OSU. Giddens is at Vermont, Harris is at NM St, and Lyle is at New Mexico. No players who logged minutes for KY in that loss are still playing college basketball.

Seems like ages ago since those guys were on OSU's roster. Dark times for sure.

I could care less about being ranked #1 right now. Like Clark Kellogg said after the game, "I'd like to see them #1 in March."

I don't think any team has truly separated themselves, though Buckeyes might have had an argument if they hadn't looked so terrible at Minny. Anyways, Gonzaga is about as deserving as anyone else in that top 8 or so is, like OSU_Buckguy pointed out.

Not sure if CBS will have their CBS Sports Classic next year, but certainly UCLA has fallen off in general, and if CBS brings this event back it may be time to remake the field. Over the past 6 years, counting this one, UCLA had one awesome year and a lot of mediocrity. If you look at the four years in the past 5 where they didnt win 30 games, they averaged losing about 15 games per season. This year looks like more of the same and they are still in a transitional period. If I am CBS & plan to continue this event, I replace UCLA with one of Arizona, Gonzaga or Oregon.
