also, gard is a trash coach for shifting responsibility onto the big ten's office while he's done absolutely nothing despite this not even being davison's first, second, or tenth dirty play.
edit: but shame on the big ten for giving illinois' alan griffin -- a first-time offender -- 2 games for stepping on an opponent. i'm not saying griffin didn't deserve his punishment, but davison getting only 1 game is absurd in comparison.

Illinois grinds out a 59-51 win over Minnesota tonight.
Still not sure if this team is winning the B1G good, but it feels good to go into February with a legit shot at it. Next 5 games against ranked teams starting Sunday at Iowa.
