2018 Week 7 CFB Open Thread

Ummmm. Parachute pants were gone well before Cooper came to the 43210.

Acid washed jeans were close to being on their way out in Coop’s first year. But, if you found someone wearing them, it was a signal. Douche bag for dudes. And chicks? They likely had a morally casual attitude.
Modern industrial "acid washing" of jeans was not patented until 1986, and was not commercially available in the US until July of that year, when Levi Strauss began using the process.Acid wash jeans were originally popular from 1986 to the mid 1990s.

As for Parachute pants, those were around in the early mid 1980s, and I would advise not attempting to light a fart on fire while wearing them.

Went on a bachelor party weekend down there once. I paid the women to not touch the groom.

I confess to going to bars over there in high school because the drinking age was 18 and they didn't card anyone, but it wasn't like picking up chicks was the priority. Besides, they were busy fucking their cousins.

I believe you are correct, Sir. They're a big part of why I took a job out of grad school that sent me out of the country.

I got a bachelor party kicked out of a Dave and Busters in Cleveland. Turns out you can't make up your own games and take bets on spinning bar stools. They even took my picture.
