No no... this defense is not their usual outfit especially up front (Franklin said he was concerned).

Illinois with no throwing threat is SHREDDING this team and that's with half as good an offensive line and not as dangerous of backs.

PEDs Offense isn't as dangerous out wide and they aren't even in the same stratosphere with their front 7. Potential is there for a lopsided win IMO.

I've called them a paper tiger all year so far. They tend to pile on late to make scores look bad.

Bottom line is App State took them to OT and had the lead with 40 seconds left, Pitt ran for 200+ yards and had a lead late in the 2nd before falling apart and Kent State was at 28-10 at the half.

So playing shit for competition so far and they've struggled IMO quite a bit.

I always thought they were more into piling on early.

Damn, I took a spin through BWI hoping to feast on some tears of bitterness and conspiracy theories. It's downright sane over there, all pretty much a combination of our defense sucks and O$U is going to kill us.
