It's a shame that it came at the hands of Russia and Brazil, but nonetheless......

It's an adventure every time the ball is in the air for this Japanese keeper. He's losing it a lot.

Kinda like the U.S. against Belgium last World Cup. If Japan keeps allowing Belgium to pound the net, a goal will come (even though it's even at 2-2 right now).

Meh I'm fine with trying to win the game if you're Japan and you have a corner in the 93rd minute... but someone has to take a hard foul and stop that break. I'd much rather take a straight red and play ET with 10 men than allow an offensive squad like Belgium to have a 5 on 3 break.

They were more likely to catch Belgium on the counter a couple more times in extra time than have one of those hobbits bang home that corner.

Welp, going to take a long lunch to watch England most likely find a way to blow it. I expect that they'll have the better of possession and will look good in the middle of the field but will fail to convert multiple great chances and will lose 2-1 on one poorly defended counter attack and one bit of one-on-one brilliance by a Colombian. Hopefully, I'll be wrong THIS time (Just wait, you'll see).
