2018 FIFA World Cup (Official Thread)

Why are Latin American teams allowed to act like they never knew being scumbags is against the rules in every single match? You shouldn’t get 20 talking tos before the first yellow.

And then the refs act like they need to have the same number of calls on both sides, so it just becomes a slug-fest and a diving competition at the same time.

I fucking hate the way these teams play soccer.

I know for a fact there is voodoo/Black Magic in England because I discovered it on vacation.

Kill a goat or sacrifice Piers Morgan or something.

This is a curse. I've never seen a full side of the bracket that wide open (meaning no names)...and England still can't win.

Colombia is damn lucky they weren't down a man after the PK, because I think Sanchez should have gotten a 2nd yellow after refusing the ref's instructions to back off. Also, they can card a team in general, right? Think they should have gotten one in general for continuing to crowd the ref. That shit needs to be stopped, and the players won't stop until the refs make it clear that it won't be tolerated.

Yeah, I was thinking thank gosh Pablo Escobar is dead (for Mark Geiger's sake).

I would've invested in remote car starters if I were Geiger (if Escobar was still alive and the Medellin cartel was still rollin).

Andres Cantor isn't even attempting to be impartial on Telemundo (but I don't think he's supposed to).

England needs to win this thing prior to penalties because outside of Kane, Henderson, and Vardy, I've never seen anyone else kick one.

I don't think England is winnin' this thing.

Shell-shocked in extra time. Haven't even put forth a move yet.

It doesn't help that two creative players like Alli and Sterling got pulled (but Southgate couldn't anticipate giving up that late of a goal).
