They have talent, probably should have been there from the outset based on paper. Ponds is one of the top 10ish scorers in college this year. Mullin is not a good coach or those guys could be dangerous.

Brutal loss for Oregon vs UCLA tonight, had a 13-point lead with under 2:30 left when UCLA went on a 3-point binge and the Ducks tried to bleed the clock instead of score. Oregon even fouled strategically up 3 with 3 seconds left, but failed to block out on an intentional miss. They even could have lost in regulation as a result because UCLA got an and-1 on the putback off the intentional miss on the 2nd FT attempt.

The Pac 12 continues to be a mess. Washington is currently the highest rated P12 team in Kenpom at 43

UCLA lost by 13 to Oregon State over the Weekend

Oregon State :lol: is 3-0 to start conference play with wins over both UCLA & Oregon (& Oregon)

Oregon State had OOC losses to Kent State, St Louis and a awful Texas A&M & Missouri teams

They are a mess. tOSU would dominate the Pac-12, but they might be in the bottom half of the B1G.

Virginia, one of two remaining unbeatens, is hammering VT. But to be fair, they have yet to face UMBC this season.

I am a severe UVA doubter. They will pile up the regular season wins like nobody's business, but I dont buy their style of play as leading to a deep run in the NCAA tourney.

Is UVA any better offensively? That's always been their Achilles heel when it comes tournament time. At some point you're going to run into a team that can score on you no matter what you do. Can you keep up? So far the answers always been 'no'.

All it basically takes is a team with a great scoring backcourt and athletic defense to beat them.
