Maybe sleepy and company will call into question whether the CFP can get a really good picture of a team when that team only plays 8 conference games and schedules the fucking Citadel as their 4th OOC game... the week before playing their rival.
You'd think so but...nahhhh. Bama probably gonna come back next year, kick someone else's ass, and everyone will forget about this like it never happened.

Didn't even watch it--seemed like a big waste of time for everyone. I mean, I guess I can understand those of you craving your last bit of college football like an addict getting their fix.

My take:
Who cares? Until Alabama & Clemson stop trading NC trophies I could give a shit. Oh, and that SEC fest last year? Didn't watch it either. Why give ratings to a game you could see in November?

People at work keep asking me about it. Just keep repeating the same thing-- the one and only NC that really mattered was the first one.

Oh absolutely. All I’m saying is that nothing I saw last night suggested to me that those two teams wouldn’t beat us. Those teams belonged in the playoffs and I believe either would have steamrolled our porous defense.

Yeah, there is not perfect solution today for getting 4 teams in.
I didn't see anything that would indicate to me that the Bama we saw last night would be able to stop our offense, and I am not sure their offensive strengths correspond to our defensive weaknesses. Moot though, because I don't think anyone could have stopped Clemson.

They would run through us like we were Swiss cheese. Our game would likely look like OUs game. Bama would make our offense one dimensional and our QB isn’t mobile in the way that OUs QB was. Yeah, more often than not, Bama would have beaten us.

I'd like to congratulate Dabo Swinney and the entire Ostarine Tiger team.

They came out fast, lean, and aggressive. They certainly brought "the juice" and Bama couldn't match it.

Did they discuss or even mention those suspensions at all during the broadcast? I didn't watch. I don't think it's at all paranoid to assume it would have been listed among the crimes of the century had this occurred at tOSU.

I want to know what sorcery Dabo had employed to keep Venebles this long. Assistant turnover is what held back OSU and now Bama. Meanwhile his star assistant and defenders stick around for more

Also this. During the first round of playoff they were showing all the 4th and 5th year defenders at Climson, most of whom likely could be getting paid in the NFL right now, and I was wondering what kind of cars they all drive.

not only that Jeff Scott and Tony Elliot on offense... I’ve been to clemson more times than I can count... Its a great small town, they live like kings... but I can’t understand why no one has a made a run at any of them
