I mean, you're right he's different than Saban when talking to the media, but I don't think he takes a backseat to any coach in competitiveness. I have little doubt he's just as motivated as Nick to win an NC
Well we got a lot better for one lol. I dunno, I don't think he's changed all that much. He straight up called the secondary terrible after the Indiana win.I don't either. I think since his "clown show" comment he's been far more guarded to the media. Saban still uses the media to deliver calculated messages to his team and fan base. Urban seems to have shied away from that a bit in recent years.
Something changed after the 2012 season was already underway, when the secondary was also a clown show and Boren was moved to LB, and well after the pink contract.
I was impressed with Purdue's QB Sindelar tonight. Kid appears to have a laser arm.
They hired Mike Riley cuz he was a nice guy. They're fine with a 9-4 ceiling as long as the coach isn't spraying the Omaha World News' reporter with spittle and rage farting on the Gatorade kid at practice.Nebraska has some splainin' to do though, Lucy.
Miami, Florida State, Ohio State, and the rest of the football world recruits the hell out of the state.I don't get why it is so difficult to assemble a decent offense for a program like that. I can't think of one legitimate offensive player since Jesus' favorite rightfielder was there
And? For 20 years, that was one of the top programs in the country. They consistently had high powered offenses. They have solid academics to offer. There's no reason for a program like that to spend the better part of a decade unable to field a solid offense or find a competent qb. Illinoise is still terrible tooSolid week for the Big Ten. No upsets. Rutgers and Purdue way overachieved against ranked teams. Only underachievers were Corn definitely and probably Gopher.
Is this the appropriate place to mention that my account was hacked in the upset contest and someone changed my pick from Howard to Appy State?
I'll listen on the radio.
