You could make it 32 teams and #33 would complain. Look at March Madness every year.

Disappointed to not make it, but I wasn't hopeful about OSU's chances winning. Clemson in the semis and probably OU again in the final? No thanks. Ohio State is just not national title caliber/consistent this year.

Enjoy the Fiesta, beat USC, finish the season #3 in the country, and gear up for next year.

Way to miss my point. I've said that very thing more times than I can count. We have the talent to compete with anyone, and our best game is again up there with anyone.

My whole point is that we almost never play 'our best game'. The one time this year we didn't consistently shoot ourselves in the feet was against MSU.

If we had any semblance of consistency, we would match up well against anyone. Unfortunately, we don't - and no one, Urban Meyer included, has any idea which team shows up any given Saturday.

btw, Buckeyes gave up 470 yds/31 pts to Clemson.
whereas 'Bama gave up 511 yds/35 pts to Clemson.

So, as discussed ad nauseam, the Buckeyes pathetic 2016 offense was the bigger problem!

Does anyone know the ratings for the B1G game last night? And the Clemson U massacre as well?

Bottom line is this OSU team struggled coming to play every week.

The lack of focus, consistency, and discipline absolutely did this team in.

No doubt. I love that this team got a title ans has a shot at 12-2, but the lack of focus and consistency has been a problem all year and cost them.
