I turn on the game for the first time tonight in 2nd half and see a clear false start called offsides that wasn’t even offsides. Then an insanely obvious face mask. Then likely a block in the back on the return. All by Bama none called. Yeah I am promptly changing the channel already. What a joke.

Eh. Maybe. But the missed block in the back, followed by the offsides that should have been a false start, followed by the obvious missed facemask, followed by the ref announcing it was 1st down when it really was 3rd and 7 was a hell of a 5-minute sequence of gaffes. And it's perfectly consistent with the clown show that is Big Ten officiating. Let me put it this way: there's no way it'd be worse had another conference been chosen.
