2017-2018 College Basketball Discussion (Official Thread)

So I've only seen about 4 minutes of the ND-Va Tech game, and I was wondering why there have been so many bad calls in such a short period of time. And then I saw why--that clown Ted Valentine is officiating. :roll1:
and TV Ted lived up to his reputation of being a bad official. He called a foul from the top of the circle while the referee underneath the basket did not blow his whistle on a clean block underneath the basket

possibly bad news for bubble teams. southern miss just beat middle tennessee. cusa was a one-bid conference without that upset, and mtsu may (in my opinion, should) warrant an at-large bid. though bracket matrix and lunardi have mtsu as a 12-seed coming into today, their rpi of 29 is solid. going 2-3 (q1) and 3-1 (q2) without any q4 losses is respectable. their losses are good, too: by 6 to auburn, 5 to usc, and 3 to miami. it would be a shame for mtsu to be held out because of today's loss. i'd rather see a mid-major team get the benefit of the doubt than a high-major.

they certainly deserve it over the dumpster fire that OU has been the last 6 weeks of the season.
