2017-2018 B1G Men's Basketball (Official Thread)

I'm confident they'll be back next year. Things were not looking good about halfway through the season, but they really improved over the last four or five games, including taking MSU down to the wire twice.
Agree. They will not have EH back but their guys just fit the system which is very difficult to play against and they are always fundamentally sound.

Happ should be back. The only way he isn't is if he gets a first-round grade from the draft committee, which I seriously doubt will happen.
For some strange reason, I thought he was a senior. You are correct. He is not NBA talent at this stage and I doubt if he will be even if he sticks around. He might fit good in Europe.

Thought I read that Wisconsin was dealing with a ton of injuries this year?
They lost D'Mitrik Trice and Kobe King, two regular contributors, on the same day back in December. Neither were All-Conference players by any means, but Trice was a starter and was averaging 9.4 ppg before the injury. King was a true freshman this year and came off the bench to average 5.2 ppg. Add in the fact that Brad Davison was playing on one arm for most of the year, and they definitely didn't fare well health-wise.

In fairness, he did have his shooting arm.

Um, sure.

Big blow to Rutgers. Kid is talented and tough. Did what he could with that program. Still weird to see any basketball player from Rutgers leaving early though, hope he lands somewhere and wish him well.

TBH, PSU was the most underachieving team in the B1G this year. No way they should have missed the tourney with all that talent. They were down a key starter at C and still won the NIT. With better coaching and injury luck, they are a top-25 team this year. I don't see Tony Carr sticking around another year - he is too good to stay in college.

In reference to Sanders, I was wondering if he has not drafted by an NBA team if he could enter the draft for the G league because he sure as hell sure is not going to be drafted by an NBA team.
