At the end of the day MSU has 3 NBA players on their roster, played a much easier B1G schedule, paid at least one of their players and finishes one game ahead of us. What can we do
Sparty got insanely lucky with their B1G road schedule. Has to be the first time in B1G history that a champ had 8 league road games against teams that lost at least 10 regular season games, excluding the games they played vs the champ. Izzo couldn't have picked the road opponents any easier if he did it himself.
But I also think that Mark Emmert and the NCAA are incompetent and punchless and nothing will come of all this agent stuff (outside of a few schools firing their coaches).
Maybe Izzo already decided he was leaving and doesn't care about the future of the program.
There are three B1G opponents that MSU had to play that will for sure make the NCAA tourney, and MSU played each just one time only, and the two bubble teams were also played just once each. And four of those five games were at home. Gross.
