2016 CFB Week 2 Open Thread

He who sweats mayonnaise at TCU could be one of those games that's used in late season strength of conference arguments.

VT at Tennessee...go Hokies

Iowa seems to always have trouble with Iowa State, might be worth keeping an eye on

Penn State at Pitt has a lot of obvious entertainment value potential.

But yeah, worst week of CFB ever. Top 25 might literally go undefeated (but somehow it won't)

I know rankings haven't been updated yet, but how Tennessee is ranked #9 preseason is beyond me. Hurd went under 4 yards a pop on 28 carries against Appy St. Butch Jones is definitely on the hot seat after this season. Not sure he'll be fired, but definitely on the hot seat.

Rooting for Hokies and the Panthers of course.

Definitely forgot to list Pitt-Ped. Doubt the producers will allow the shirts to be seen though because "it takes away front the sanctity of the game." Of course, those are the same clowns that forced the success with honor myth down our throats for years.

Go ahead and throw TCU on upset alert. #SECSECSEC will be in full effect, but this could be a good thing.

If TCU drops this game, it could very well be the killer for getting a Big 12 rep into the playoffs. I have no doubt Texas will drop 2-3 games, and Oklahoma looks to be a step slower than predicted.

Arkansas got bailed out by shitty FG kicking and trailed until later in the 4th in a 1 point victory over a La Tech team that lost 13 starters (including anyone worth a damn) from last year

TCU couldnt put away South Dakota State until midway through the 4th quarter, they allowed 41 points and 462 yards of offense.

I'm sure the talking heads will make somewhat of a deal out of whoever wins this game, but it's not exactly a "conference power" nutflex match at this point
