I think it's more along the lines of Texas being an historically prominent team. That eventually they have to take a stand and claim a big victory to turn the corner on their rhetoric the last few seasons.

That and it's the favorite past time of sports sites to push for the comeback story for the big programs. Certain writers and radio hosts froth at the mouth for the return of 'legendary' ND and UM.

This QB platooning within the same series seems like Rocky going right handed in II. A gi,,ick that will only work in the short term. I can totally see it causing huge problems.
