2015 Week 6 CFB Open Thread

When the same song plays I dance the same dance. What can I say? Don't like it then just skip my post
If you heard the same song today then maybe you need to realize the only place that song is playing is in your head. 6-0. Every opponent has tOSU circled on their calendar. Zero turnovers. Better decision making by Cardale. Much better red zone efficiency than last week. Two takeaways by the defense (+2 turnover margin).
Is this team ready to go 15-0 and win it all? No. Then again, tell me which team in the country has shown it is ready to be 15-0 this year. Did they show improvement in some areas, especially on offense? Yes. Take a step back in others, especially on defense? Yes. They have the talent, coaching, and desire to improve. They will continue getting better.
So far as that song you're hearing, I would recommend clozapine.

You've had some brutal stuff. The Fail Mary vs BYU, the comeback for naught at Miami, one point loss last week...are any of the fans longing for Bo, yet?

Not longing for Bo, but ready for Mike to go already.

I never thought he was the right guy for the job. Maybe that will change over time, but if he loses games the way he's lost the 3 this year, forget it. A loss is a loss, no matter how you lose. No moral victories for this fella.

If they could just RUN THE DAMN BALL they'd be better a bit off.

Oh I wasn't suggesting moral victories. Those losses are the worst kind - snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Even in this era of spread offenses it still behooves a team to be able to run the football, especially in the B1G.

All this Northwestern/Michigan game is telling us is that Northwestern--much like their coach--is a complete pretender. Northwestern has very little talent on either side of the ball. Worse yet, they're playing like they're terrified in this game. If they're the best the Big Ten West has to offer, look for another 59-0 game in the Big Ten title game this year.

This.
Only big negative to take away from today is that mobile QBs kill us. None of the marquee opponents left have a mobile QB... so...
Still a concern for post-season game(s) but I'll cross that bridge when we get there.
