Story Paul Hornung told about 25/30 years ago. The Packers were playing the Bears early '60s, 1962 IIRC. Someone comes up to Lombardi in the locker room before the game and tells him that coach Halas is waiting outside and would like to talk to him. So coach Lombardi goes out to see Halas and asks him why he wants to see him, wherein Halas says, "Coach you better have your team ready to play, 'cause we're going to kick your ass!"
One suspects Halas is the only one on earth w/balls enough to say that to Lombardi.
"You guys voted for our current dip[Mark May]...twice."
Meaningless, childish generalization "you guys" aside, I'm reminded of Nixon resigning after his landslide victory in '72 when he won every state but Massachusetts. People in MA started wearing t-shirts which said, Don't blame me!
In lieu of an actual, inane debate wherein our 'Bama friends tell us about the history of their great state and current day positive attributes, I'll just say ... carry on.
