2015 Sugar Bowl Less Civilized Thread (Arguments/Shenanigans)

Thanks for showing all of Bama's failures of late. I am now humbled and will graciously bow out before I am verbally taken to task.

Don't think Saban isn't already preparing for FSU or Oregon also? He is winning it all this season and OSU is the first step, either Oregon or Jaboo's team is going to be facing The Tide in the last step.

But, trust me, Saban is not taking only seven days, after Bama vs. OSU, to study and practice on his team's next opponent after your team. A month is a long time. He will allocate a couple hours a day for Ohio State, but also a good amount of time for both Oregon and FSU.

If that's so, it's a failure of leadership on Saban's part and a lack of maturity and focus on the players part.

They'll know they are in a game the moment they get punched in the mouth by Bennett and Bosa that's for damn sure.

As well as the entire O-line, Cardale, Eze, Devin, Jalin, and Samuel. I can name about three others on the D side as well. Easily the most important 1st quarter of football this team has faced since Urban got here. I'm not saying Bama is going to thug it up, but they sure as hell will try to intimidate our guys early. This team needs to respond with a big FUCK YOU...We ain't ND. This game has the potential to be one of the best games I've seen in my lifetime. If our young guys show up with their A game, it could set the tone for the rest of the decade.

You sound pretty serious, BIH. Is it for real? Ohio State scur you as much as Florida State? Urban Meyer is sneaky sometimes.

To be honest, I really want Alabama to get a chance to shut down Florida State's 4th quarter comeback and win the NC against them.

I know Ohio State is a big test but, if I were Bama players, I would also be concentrating on studying FSU players. Put just enough effort towards practice to suffice for Ohio State and then look ahead to Jaboo and Jimbo.

Need more than 7 or 8 days to get ready for the Seminoles.

Every once in a while I say to myself "JC, why do you hate the SEC so much?" I begin to doubt and then - ta da! - a self-explanatory reason rears it's ugly head.

LOL! I understand. There are bad apples in every fanbase.

Pretty sure this guy is beyond the bad apple moniker. "Fans" like this one are the reason people love to see a program fail.

No disrespect to good company from opposing squads. Most of us love the insight and back-and-forth with quality visitors, but some folks should delete their account and go back to their Saban shrine to worship.

God forbid we think our boys have a chance against the unstoppable machine that is Alabama football. I suppose we should tell him they should be happy to grace the same field and bend over for the upcoming plunger.

It's not that they think their team is better, that is a reasonable assumption. It's that they think OSU has no rights to be on the field with them, OSU's schedule is suspect, blah blah blah. It's not enough to say they are better - they have to tear you down and disrespect you. It's sad really.

Edit: not talking about you, TideFan or the other reasonable ones in this thread (and elsewhere). It's pointed at jerkoffs ShiftTabF4 and that one dick on your scout site that hates Yankees so much that "a Yankee accent" is like fingernails on a chalkboard to him. Like Ohioans, Bostonians and New Yorkers all sound the same. :roll1:

I don't know any fans of this conference who pound their chests like idiots every time they win a out-of-conference game...I have still yet to hear a B-1-G B-1-G chant. When "ya'll" act like the SEC is better than the NFL you should expect some ridicule when you lose to IU.
Or maybe they're better at winning important ooc games than are Big Ten teams. I happen to believe there are some reasons that get ignored - like how very rare it is to see an SEC team travel out of the south to play anybody and how all the meaningful bowl games are south of the M-D Line extended, but I give credit where credit is due.

Saban doing just enough to prepare for victory meshes so well with what we all know about him. He definitely doesn't have aneurysms in the waning moments of a 50 pt blowout.

I think the entertainment factor of that schtick has just about worn off. We have too many good visitors (some who surely have surely bit their tongue at times ) to allow one self important rabble rouser to dominate and destroy the dialogue.

Once again for clarity, it isn't the belief that Bama will win (even handily ). It is how you express yourself.

For crying out loud, you start encountering a pretty noticeable drawl by venturing as far south as Lima OH. Heck, I started getting a bit of one just by living with @crazybuckfan40 for awhile
