Game Thread 2015 Sugar Bowl: (1) Alabama vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 1st @ 8:30p ET, ESPN (civilized thread)

He won't have any time to throw... It happens every year with Oregon. They roll through the Pac-10 and then they get punched in the face with when they face a team with a great DL. Which FSU does have.

Great post...I agree Oregon will have a hard time winning the championship with FSU and then especially Bama or the Buckeyes on the horizon. I had to laugh at ESPN when someone said 'But Oregon has that big back this year', yeah how'd that work out with Blount when we played them in the Rose Bowl with a less stout DL than we have now.

Oregon's problem is always they can't stay balanced when they play a good defensive team. It's like practicing hitting fast balls at 70 and then you start facing someone who's bring Ricky Vaughn heaters you just can't prepare for it because they never see it in the Pac-10.

Could you imagine Oregon's defensive line with our offensive line? Are you kidding? We would run for 350 yards and Mariotta (however you spell it) would be running for his life with Bosa on the edge and our two DT's. I was hoping for Oregon because I think it'll be tough for us to beat a physical Alabama team then have to play another physical team in FSU because I know Oregon ain't winning. At least if we had played them we would be spared two straight brutally physical teams. Now we just have to earn it more so and I know we can. After all, our boys have done it all year.

You're severely undervaluing how good that 2009 defensive front was.

I'm just curious how advanced your 3rd string qb can be.... he's not gonna see a high school defense

He didn't see a high school defense on Saturday either. The offense was able to execute at a high level in areas that helped the QB not have to do to much.

I'd say he's at least on a similar level with Blake Sims in terms of skills. Probably not as good a runner but probably a better passer all in all.

Eh, that is probably up for debate since we haven't seen Cardale play much. I've watched Sims play and he is very accurate throwing the ball.

I like this comparison. Although Sims has more starting experience. Jones has the superior arm and strength in the pocket. Accuracy I'll defer to our Alabama friends on some input about Blake.
