How many times did we hear Urban Meyer say you play through the whistle? Whistle wasn't blown until the second guy downed it. That should have been an easy 6 had they pursued.

Urban also took the blame for the call on first down with 1:50 on the clock and Alabama down to two TO's. That was so obviously the time to run Ez three times and punt if you had to. Terrible clock management.

Meant to say that I admired him for not throwing players or fellow coaches under the bus. Straight up, "the buck stops here," answers to the tough questions.

The offensive line played excellent last night...what a coaching job to lose 4 NFL caliber starters and turn around a group, that most people would consider projects, into a dominant line. You did great things Warriner. I also think our S&C program has been a major differentiator for this team.

Regarding that no-call fumble on Alabama's first drive:

With the game replay being shown on the SEC Network, I watched that play in super slo-mo on my DVR. I thought it was a fumble at the time and was hooting and hollering. Upon further review, he was down.
