Game Thread 2015 Spring Game, April 18th @ 1:30p ET (BTN)

Did anybody expect anything less? From what I gather this equipment sale was like a one of those gun buybacks, but the item being collected is jocksniffers' money that they'd normally use to get players in trouble with the NCAA. With that in mind, it looks like it was a great success.

Jock sniffer....now there's a classy term. LOL

I still don't know how that wasn't 100,000 people.

I was sitting in C-Deck and there weren't that many blank spots (seemed like zero). I guess at least Ohio State is honest.

You have to factor in all the obstructed view seats in B Deck behind those big supports. There are a lot of empty seats in B Deck that are all hidden by C Deck (and those big posts).

I laugh at the writers -- mostly beat writers of other programs (especially Big Ten schools) -- saying the students/alumni/fans who showed up to Ohio Stadium Saturday have an unhealthy obsession with Ohio State football.

The coaches of the same programs these writers cover are asking for more fans to attend their respective Spring Games.

It's just media these days I suppose. It pays to 'troll' large fan bases and try to garner attention for yourself, rather than actually having good writing skills, analysis and/or reporting skills.

Not media...and this isn't the Ped State thread, but BWIers look at Pitt's attendance and laugh at their small draw. They look at our attendance and out come the excuses about big city, and nothing to do in "that cowtown." Then they talk about the 68k who showed up for their game and how it "shows the passion people have for child rape, er, Penn State."

So to clarify, small numbers=pathetic program. Large numbers=excuses to rationalize how pathetic those people and the area are. Penn State attendance=people with passion. Gotta love the lunacy.

Now imagine what they'd be saying had THEY drawn 99k to their spring game... Gross.
