I L-O-V-E that Oregon beat FSU so bad. I want them to ride that high into Jerry World. I want them to have a great sense of false hope going into this one, thinking they can do the same to OSU. Please, PLEASE keep OSU as underdogs. Ohio State beating Alabama by a touchdown more impressive than the curb stomping of Free Shoes University. FSU should have at least 4 losses with the way they played this season. This is just the first time Winston & Co. has ran into a team that wouldn't let them win from behind.

Michigan State, Penn State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Alabama... Top 15 defenses (3 of which are top 10 rush defenses) all folded up by Ohio State. Oregon has played only 1 top 30 defense all year long.

Amari Cooper & Melvin Gordon - 2 Heisman finalists. The Biletnikoff & Doak Walker Award winners held to a lowly combined 147 yards and 2 TDs.... I don't see the Buckeyes being starstruck at all with Mariotta.

Oregon is in for a huge surprise if they think they will roll over this team. They are the #3 total Offense (OSU #9), OSU is the #17 total Defense (Oregon #84).


...But if anyone asks you - Yes, Ohio State is a slow Big Ten team that is fat and unathletic. No, we have never played a team as great as Oregon. Yes, we suck in bowls. When we when it's only because we are indeed the "Luckeyes"... let them keep believing it for 10 more days.

If I can't wait that long, when should I buy? If I get tickets my Dad will come down from Ohio to go with me.

Closer to the game will be the best. Your Dad coming down is the problem because you will want to lock it down sooner rather later. Start checking the ticket sites as often as possible starting now. What you want is when the supply (tickets from Bama and Crimenole fans) is greater than those buying those tickets.

If I were you (3 hours drive from the game), I would fly my Dad down and then wait until the tickets are something that I could live with. Worst case is you will watch the game at home with your Dad.
