Again, OSU was a heavy favorite which is always a red flag. And when reports of Anthony Gonzalez hypoxic chamber low oxygen tent started appearing daily it was quite disconcerting.

As Meyer mentioned years later, it's always better to be the underdog in order to light a fire. btw, didn't know at the time Meyer was born in Ohio and his association w/Ohio State. The stars were aligned perfectly for the Gators.

On the other hand when has Ohio State ever come back from (15) points down and defeat the #1 team in the country? Probably never. And how often has a 3rd string QB won a NC? Of course there are 3rd stringers and then there is Cardale. JT was interviewed before the WI game and said Cardale is just as good as me, not to worry. The truth shall set you free!
When I saw the 'Rose Of Cleveland'...I wondered what Boone and Barton thought and we saw what happened against UF.

Sounds like we're going to be seeing plenty of Adolphus' former teammate at Taft, Dwayne Stanford.

Not willing to rejoice about or criticize Carrington's mistake for several reasons:

1. I want the teams to play each other at full strength (although that rarely happens in any football game) because excuses make me throw up in my mouth.

2. The same thing happened to the Bucks with Noah (and several other Buckeyes in the past).

3. I could very well have made the same mistake at his age. None of us are infallible. In fact, most of us are particularly mistake-prone at 18-19.

They're missing 3 of their top 5 recievers in Carrington, Allen, and Brown which is close to 2k yards in receptions... they still have Marshall but how many of you would like to lose Mike Thomas, Jalin Marshall, and devin smith (production wise that's what it'd be like)?

We would become extremely run oriented and IMO I think Oregon will lean more on the run. If we lose this game because they rail our defense then there's honestly no excuses. Take out marshall with grant, stop the run, and spy marcus with Darron Lee.
