Game Thread 2015 National Championship Game: (2) Oregon vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 12th @ 8:30p ET, ESPN

They're missing 3 of their top 5 recievers in Carrington, Allen, and Brown which is close to 2k yards in receptions... they still have Marshall but how many of you would like to lose Mike Thomas, Jalin Marshall, and devin smith (production wise that's what it'd be like)?

We would become extremely run oriented and IMO I think Oregon will lean more on the run. If we lose this game because they rail our defense then there's honestly no excuses. Take out marshall with grant, stop the run, and spy marcus with Darron Lee.

Oregon's offense has always been predicated on the run, first. It doesn't appear that way when you watch an entire Oregon game, but they typically begin their offensive bait early in the game with the inside and outside zone run, just like Alabama does. Now, they come out of it much faster, and will back off much sooner than most, but they will try very hard to establish the run early. Their many forms of play action are useless without it.

Haha right? Regardless like I said now Apple and Grant are lining up against kids while talented are not the threat the others were. This should allow us to get after Marcus much more so..

Side note I get angry when people from the talking heads and especially other teams talk about over coming adversity. They don't know what the fuck adversity is until you lose your top two qbs, your best defensive player and you have to deal with a player death. Don't come crying to the game on Monday Oregon because we will have no sympothy for it

So let's get this straight? They lose Allen and now Carrington the two fastest and best deep threats they have? Blood. In. The. Water.

Regardless, you don't just not miss a beat with this stuff... stack the box, pressure Marcus, and take your odds with our secondary. Everyone moves up a spot in their WR corps and now I really like our matchups even more than I did. Trust our corners because if they can eliminate Cooper they can man anyone up.

They will lean on the run and option game more so I have a feeling.

Let us not forget that we down to our THIRD QB, have played without our best defensive end, lost our #2 halfback to suspension, have been without Dontre Wilson for two months, Boren is playing with a hyper-extended knee. It's a long season and the shit evens out if you ask me.
