Game Thread 2015 National Championship Game: (2) Oregon vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 12th @ 8:30p ET, ESPN

Sitting in my recliner recovering from shoveling out the driveway. Watching replay of the 2015 Sugar Bowl that some weak assed Ohio team won. Can't believe that some team that the media said shouldn't have won anything, couldn't beat MSU, Wisconsin or Alabama, pulled one out of their hat using their third string QB. So happy that there is a playoff series, otherwise we would be sitting home watching the snow. (IMO Needs expanded to 8)

Got my airplane tickets...got my motel reservation...just got email that we got tickets for The National Championship Game!!! I'm doing the Snoopy Happy Dance!!! Can't Wait!!!

FUCK *ICH!GAN. GO BUCKS!!!

This would make sense if the cards were lined up when he did all that. They weren't. Urban left before there was any talk of him coming to Ohio State. He was sitting in an ESPN booth. Then when the opportunity came up, he jumped on it.
Right. That's why I said one of the main reasons he left is he lost dominance. "This is too hard! I'm going to take a break until I can get out of the SEC."

At that time, the sec was hell for coaches. It really was the dominant conference. I think it was too hard on him week in and week out, he just wouldn't flat out admit it. That bothers me. Hell, I wouldn't be able to handle coaching cfb, much less dealing with the crazy sec fans. When you add in the expectations of a title during those years, it's a lot. He needed to take a few years off for himself, but he wouldn't admit it.

Feel free to check the date on this and then look at who our coach was at the time. Tressel was in no danger of being out the door at this point in time.
November 2009, "I'll stay at Florida as long as they'll have me."

December 2009,"oops, I lost with my best team. I give up. ". If he would have said, " I changed my mind, I quit and I hate all y'all." That would have been different. He ran.

On December 8, 2010, Meyer again announced his retirement from coaching for much the same reasons he mentioned in December 2009: his family and his health.[59][60]

Tressel resigned as Ohio State's head football coach on May 30, 2011.[4

Facts.
You didn't read what I wrote carefully enough. Running from the sec was goal #1. Waiting for a great job was the second part of the plan. It was a beautiful plan. He just wasn't truthful.

There isn't a coach in any sport that is both capable of winning it all, and so much of a pussy that he quits when things get tough. You can believe what you want, but it sounds to me like you're just gobbling up the SEC is the greatest at everything ever bullshit.
