2015 CFB Week 1 Open Thread

Hey at least MSU pulled it out, B1G needs all the OOC wins we can get! They tend to play down to competition BUT I am wondering if they lost too much on defense.

Now have the BSU WASH game on but it's hard to watch, that blue shit stain should be abolished! Good luck getting into a P5 with that field :pirate:

They may or may not be, but how did our team look in September last season?

It's too soon to really tell.
We weren't a top 5 team at the beginning of last season. Our rank may or may not have been. But I remember hearing genuine concern coming from this message board as soon as the final whistle sounded against Navy. It's not a bad thing, I'm simply saying those three teams didn't perform like their rank indicates.

Rod Gilmore railing against the emphasis on early graduation from high school to enroll in time spring ball, despite the obvious contradiction that only the best and brightest are likely encouraged to do it because it's *gasp* in their best interest for their chosen future profession.

If a Bill Gates drops out of college to pursue his dream, he's a genius. If a high school prospect front loads his coursework and does extra equivalency work in his summers to shave a semester off his four years of high school, it's a crime against the innocence of youth.
