2015-2016 Ohio State Men's Basketball (Official Thread)

Good defense terrible O most of the half. Also does it bother anyone else that it's called a shooting foul when someone runs into the shooter after the ball is gone? Sure it's still a foul but it had nothing to do with the shot at that point.

I've always struggled with the idea of fouls after the shot being a shooting foul. Once the ball has completely left the hands of a shooter any contact does not actually affect the shot, but the follow through motions are technically a part of the shot, so...I do think they've gotten better at not calling the touch fouls of a hand brushing the shooters arm/hand on the defender following through, at least.

I know Matta has health issues that are probably a big part of the difference, but goodness, watching Matta and Groce in how they handle themselves on the sidelines regarding where they are is night and day. Matta seems to generally stay off the court even when going after an official unless he's chasing them down across the half court line whereas Groce has been almost on the 3 point line a few times. I've noticed the propensity for walking on the inbounds side of the line by a lot of the younger coaches lately and it bugs me.
