2014 Week 8 CFB Open Thread

LMAO I just woke up from my Victory nap and caught the last 2:11 of this game. Managed 2 wtf are you talking about Herbie moments.

1st He says that the 5'11" DB for FSU did a great job of going up and locating the ball on what not only looked like PI but i don't think he ever bothered looking for the ball.

2nd He says it took a lot of guts to call back a touchdown for ND in this tough environment. Really calling back an opponent go ahead score against FSU at Doak is a gutsy though enviroment call? GTFO.

Oh and LMAO Domers.
Herpie is AWFUL, and he adds to his AWFUL resume every week.

FSU is a flawed team. They have a chance to lose just about every week.

Have you seen the rest of the ACC? They are not flawed...they are perfectly [Mark May]ty.

This. Their toughest remaining game is at Louisville next week. Seriously. That isn't meant to be a joke.

Edit: remaining games.

You know what, screw it, I'm calling complete chaos in that rivalry game at the end of the year between FSU and the Gators. The Gators will have nothing to play for but that win to make their season slightly less painful by that point, and FSU will likely have a lot to lose. The Gators find a way to beat the Criminoles and chaos ensues.

Well the sec is getting at least one spot and cbs/secpn will be campaigning for 2 or 3. That would leave maybe just one spot for the b1g/pac12/big12 champs. If fsu loses that eliminates the acc and makes it much more likely osu gets in.

One step to keep that from happening is the public calling that out as bullshit instead of throwing their hands up six weeks before the end of the season and accepting it as an inevitability.

Just look at how different the top ten is right now from what it was six weeks ago. Does anybody think the status quo is going to hold the rest of the way? Between the instability of the top ten and the fact that twice as many teams will be selected to play for a championship as before, this is the most wide-open NC race that we've had in a while. I don't think it can be looked at through the same lens that we did in recent years.
