I still don't get why more effort doesn't go into making Stave ready. For god's sake, just put him in, it would be better.

It's not an issue of effort.

Seems like they are just giving McEvoy the starting role. Stave should be taking snaps in practice, taking a few snaps in games to get him comfortable and situated. It's the coaches job to help get his head right. If Stave doesn't want to play then he shouldn't be on the team.

I think the Nebraska game is the most interesting right now. McNeese actually has a good quarterback, transferred from a Kansas State, and was one of the best players on their offense.
