2014 Week 14 CFB Open Thread

Florida had to settle for 3 FGs then gave up the pick six in the red zone. Could've been up 20-0 before FSU got anything going on offense and wasted it.

FSU makes one drive and they have the lead. Can't imagine UF getting it back to be honest.

Perfect domer season. Just enough early season hype to make the complete collapse that much more wrenching. Even after the FSU loss, the media were saying they'd be the first one-loss team in. Couldn't have scripted a better domer season.

35-0 and it's not even halftime!

Golson was just benched. Ohio product, Malik Zaire, just came in and scored ND's first TD in a 3 play drive capped off by a 10 yard run from Zaire. Kid looked good and fired up to finally be on the field. There's been so many close games due to injuries this year, Zaire didn't really get any opportunities for garbage time.

If Miss State wins I don't think they drop, either. One-loss SEC team with their only loss at Alabama? Committee will eat that up.

They need to lose.

Unfortunately, the JT injury gives the committee some pretty solid ammo to justify keeping a 1-loss conference champion out. If Baylor can win solidly against KSU, they probably have the best argument to bump MSU out right now.

If FSU wins I say they should be the top seed. Committee ignores that Alabama lost at all and Oregon lost at home. There's something to be said for not losing, as we were reminding everyone in 2002 when they said we didn't belong.

I don't think we're going to pass anyone if they don't lose, JT or no JT. I don't think "style points" were ever going to leapfrog multiple teams.

If a couple of the one-loss teams get loss #2 and the Bucks win next week, things will work out. Otherwise, nope.
