I say this not because I dislike Mike Hart, but because Mike Hart's attitude that "We are Michigan" and "Little Brother" crap is exactly what has made this football program get fat, bloated, full of itself and now, irrelevant. Mike is not patient zero, but rather another patient infected with these mantras that made them think showing up was all that was needed and that the name on the jersey would win the game all by itself. It's not him. It's not the players. It is nearly everyone associated with Michigan including a lot of fans on this board...

The little brother stuff, all the disrespect, it didn't have to go in that direction. We try to handle ourselves with composure. That doesn't come from a coach, it comes from the program. Throwing the stake down in our backyard out here and coming out there like they're all that. It got shoved up...shoved it up...It got shoved in the last minute and a half ... and we were not going to pull off of that. We were not going to line up and kick a field goal, that's not our MO. If our guys could get it in, we were going to get it in.

Yet another example of Hoke's all talk interpretation of being a Michigan Man. Even if he wasn't aware of the premeditated action, it's his overall guidance that inspires the team to do stupid shit like that.
