2014 TSUN Shenanigans and Arguments

One wildcard scenario is that Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long takes the AD job if it opens and brings Bret Bielema with him.

Michigan lowers student-ticket prices for 2015 season

The Big House’s student section should be completely full during every game next season.

After recent complaints by the student body, the University of Michigan decided its in the school’s best interests to decrease the prices of student tickets for the 2015 campaign.

This season, a season ticket purchased by a student was $280. Next season, the prices will be dropped to $175 per season ticket.

“We’ve been listening,” Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon told The Michigan Daily Thursday. “We really learned that two really important components to re-engaging with our students in trying to create a more robust, more enthusiastic and larger student section for next year’s football season was price and strength of schedule.

Or they could just re-institute the Coke promotion:

Only someone as adept at being an empty suit as Dave Brandon could use a bunch of business jargon to make it sound like dropping the price nearly 40% for an out of demand product is a a good thing.

I see he made no mention of a more robust, dynamic and effective football team.

We need a real men of genius type thing for Mr Empty corporate suit ass kissing jargon slinging man

God help me I know far too many of his worthless ass type

Ex-UM WR Csont’e York will serve seven days in jail
According to the Detroit Free Press, the former Michigan wide receiver was sentenced to, among other things, 365 days in jail — he’ll have to serve seven — in connection to the incident that he led him to becoming the former Michigan wide receiver. In late September, York pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault and one charge of assault and battery. In exchange for that plea deal, another assault and battery charge was dropped.

Don't know how good it is for his heart in the long run, but our boy Mark knows how to carry a grudge.

He knows what to do about it, too.

When Michigan ran out to field pregame, Bolden appeared to spike some sort of spear or dagger into the Spartan Stadium turf...
Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio didn't mince words when asked what his intentions were with the late score either.

"As far as the score at the end, we knew we were going to pop one," he said. "They had everyone up there so we popped one. Just felt like we needed to put a stake in them. You might as well just come out and say what you are feeling at some point because you can only be diplomatic for so long."

Dantonio went on to discuss how disrespected he and Michigan State feels toward Michigan every year. The spear throw, in his eyes, was another display of that Michigan arrogance and disrespect.

"The little brother stuff, all the disrespect, they didn't have to go in that direction. We try to handle ourselves with composure," he said. "It doesn't come from the coach; it comes from the program. To throw a stake down in our back yard out here and coming out there like they are all that, it got shoved the last minute and a half."

BTN had video of the spiking incident in their post-game show. It didn't exactly receive a hearty round of approval from the commentators. Their take was it was clearly planned, a symptom of the program's disarray, and yet another incident not related to on-the-field play that will be a talking point this week.

Dummies up north don't know when to quit.
