Hoke and the pizza man are playing one heck of a game of one-upmanship aren't they?

Hoke goes out and gets slaughtered by both ND and Utah. The pizza man counters with tickets for sodas. Hoke responds by ignoring his QB obvious concussion. The pizzaman answers with the middle of the night press release, hanging Hoke out to dry......

You're up Brady......

Speaking of, and just to be clear, to the best of anyone's knowledge, has anyone actually checked Hoke for a concussion?

More seriously, they expect us to believe that sugga shane was diagnosed w/ a concussion on sunday, but Hoke was unaware of this diagnosis 18-24hrs later in his monday press conference? That takes either a MASSIVE indifference to the health of one of his players (not even taking into account the media storm about it) or some seriously lack awareness of the issue and that he'd be asked about it. Most likely everything coming out of that steaming shit hole up there is lies and spin. In the words of lisa simpson, "Do they really expect us to swallow this tripe?"

Michigan is a "sleeping giant" right now. Look at the success of their basketball program. All it would take is a little thinking out of the box and a good hire. Don't try to get a "Michigan Man". Get a good hire.
But, clearly, "The Rivalry" is not going away. It didn't completely die during the Cooper Years. The "right hire", brought it back.
Just as clearly, OSU and The Big doesn't need Michigan to be a top ten team every year. MSU and maybe PSU can give the Big a national presence to go with OSU.
As long as good coaches are getting hired by Big schools, the "national brand" will improve.

I can't say much without burning a source but I do want to say that the informational parts of this were known to me this morning. There is a reason this took so long, and the medical staff should be commended.

Suggesting that the Medical staff was unwilling to toe the "he's not concussed" line. Which explains why the medical staff cHoke referred to never took the podium

Can you just kind of touch on how this has been handled internally in terms of how it’s been addressed with Dave Brandon [and] the university. How’s that play out-

BH: “I’m getting ready to play Rutgers. That’s what I’ve been doing. Getting ready to play Rutgers. Getting the staff and the team ready to go play Rutgers. That’s what I’ve been doing.”

So, Brady, you haven’t had any conversations with Dave Brandon, or have you, about this or about job performance in general?

BH: “No.”

In the last day or two…

BH: “No.”

So he wasn’t involved in the discussion about the Shane Morris injury?

BH: “Not that I know of.”

DB: I have had numerous meetings beginning Sunday morning to thoroughly review the situation that occurred at Saturday's football game regarding student-athlete Shane Morris. I have met with those who were directly involved and who were responsible for managing Shane's care and determining his medical fitness for participation.
