Man, I've had this draft saved to add videos tonight and miss my window
I am just sitting here trying to think of actual impact players from Ohio they have had since 2001.

The LB they have now Ryan, Frank Clark (on the field not off it).
Frank is not a member of that list (unless you meant off the field, not on it).

03 Crable

03 Burgess

04 Massey

05 Justin Boren and by extension

06 Manningham

06 Mesko

11 Ryan
Can't find clip (Braxton 2012 shaking him out of his manhood)

The list includes some shenanigans, but it's the actual list, which basically means Manningham and Ryan.

04 Massey

The game before was when Ohio State beat Michigan in 2005. It probably didn't effect the outcome of the game, but the last play of that game was a pass to Massey, who could have turned and stepped out of bounds and let another play happen. He turned the other way, thinking he might score a touchdown, or something. He got stopped, fumbled (though he was later called "down"), and the clock ran to :00 while Ohio State was returning the fumble for a touchdown.

Had he stepped out of bounds, they still would have needed a hail mary or some such miracle, but stranger things have happened.

It's kind of hard to vote for some motherfucker who can't seem to distribute the football to guys wearing the same jerseys and helmets with any consistency.

Steve Bellisari was a 2-time captain for Ohio State. He also seemed to be fond of throwing the ball where it shouldn't go, and then he was kicked off the team for his senior day. And then some other guy came in and led the Buckeyes to an upset victory over some ugly team and then he won a national championship a year later.

The lesson is that sometimes captains do dumb things and get replaced by other guys who do other stuff and other stuff happens. But at least man up and pick the pumpkin captains.
