Look on the bright side, when this expands to an 8-team playoff... only half of them will be from the SEC


and 3 of them seeded; not that it matters since all the games are below the Mason-Dixon anyway

I can't really argue with the committee on their initial rankings. Disagree? Sure, but the rankings are completely reasonable.

I can't really argue with the committee on their initial rankings. Disagree? Sure, but the rankings are completely reasonable.

Their #4 pick doesn't even match their other ratings.
Ole Miss beat #6 Alabama in a close game; lost to #18 LSU
Oregon beat #8 and #22 both by several scores; lost to #12 Arizona

According to the Committee's own rankings, Oregon lost to a better team and beat better teams (by multiple scores).

The BCS was objective, and everyone wanted a playoff. No one will ever be happy with whatever system we have.

Just take the champions from every conference and put them in a playoff and don't even have the rankings... also do away with conference divisions so that the top two teams will always meet in the conference championship because there's nothing worse then a weak division and a over loaded one. This way no 8-4 team can fluke in the Championship game and make the playoffs

I was always of the opinion they should have used the BCS formula to determine who was in the playoff.
