Anyone want to play? I will take St. Edward, St. Vincent-St. Mary, St. Vincent-St. Mary and Convoy Crestview. I have not been following teams that closely this year but anyone know what is up with Upper Arlington making the semi finals. Thought for sure it would be one of the suburbian Columbus schools but not Upper Arlington.

Division I

St. Edward vs. East Tech, March 21, 5:15 p.m.

Trotwood-Madison vs. Upper Arlington, March 21, 8:30 p.m.

Division II

Norwalk vs. Thurgood Marshall, March 20, 10:45 a.m.

St. Vincent-St. Mary vs. Bishop Watterson, March 20, 2 p.m.

Division III

Villa Angela-St. Joseph vs. Columbus Bishop Ready, March 21, 10:45 a.m.

St. Bernard Roger Bacon vs. Lima Central Catholic, March 21, 2 p.m.

Division IV

St. Thomas Aquinas vs. Canal Winchester Harvest Prep, March 20, 5:15 p.m.

New Madison Tri-Village vs. Convoy Crestview, March 20, 8:30 p.m.

St. V's and St. Joe's are basically locks. Don't give a crap about D-4.

The bigge here is the Big Boys. My Co-Workers son is a coach at St. Ed's so I'm obviously pulling for them, and believe they'll pull out the ultimate trophy!

GO EAGLES!!!!!

Peace

it'd be very impressive for St. Ed's to win states with Funderburk out; just goes to show how talented they are.

They should have no problem beating East Tech but I do not know much about Trotwood-Madison or even Upper Arlington. The latter is really a surprise to me because I have not heard much about them in the Columbus area. They have never been known for their basketball prowess.

Funderburk is actually back playing. The kid healed up much quicker than expected.

His minutes are going to be limited, he played 18 minutes the other night and performed pretty well so expect more of the same at State.

Wow, that's great news. When the injury first happened I know they almost immediately said out for the year, I'm glad he's back early because few experiences in life will beat representing your school in states.

St. Vincent-St. Mary loses 57-51 to Bishop Watterson in semi finals. Norwalk won 72-64 and will play Watterson. Hard to believe that St. Vincent-St. Mary lost

Well, Cleveland Central Catholic took care of Defiance which is no big shocker since during the regular season they handled St. Vincent-St. Mary and also beat them in the Regional final. St. Vincent-St. Mary had beaten some of the top Division I high schools this season so Cleveland Central Catholic had to be pretty damn good.

I have no idea what is going to happen in the other divisions but St. Joseph is supposed to be pretty good but you can never count out those Catholic schools:biggrin:

Major Edit: The above regarding Cleveland Centro Catholic beating Defiance was a little premature since they have not played yet.

However, Madison Tri Village has been Harvest Prep by 2 points.

Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph beat Lima Central Catholic

The above were semi final match ups. How was I to know:biggrin2:

Might as well finish this

Huber Heights Wayne won Division I

Cleveland Central Catholic lost to Defiance in OT because of official called a tactical on a player from Central Catholic for hanging onto the rim on a dunk:frown:
