Sometimes lucid, mostly confused

Pardon me for taking us a few days back.
I went to an Ohio State game in the late 90's, and on the way down I stopped at the rest stop north of Cbus on 71. I came out after doing my business, and was waiting for my son to finish his. There was this gigantic kid sitting there who asked me if I was going to the Ohio State game. I told him I was. He said proudly, "I'm a recruit" with a huge smile, and we chatted for a few minutes. He told me about his HS career - Shaker Hts if I remember correctly - and I found him to be a wonderfully sweet kid. After he signed, for the first time in my life, an offensive lineman was my favorite player on the team.
