That would be awesome. The Ohio State University has a deep victim complex, and is convinced that they are mistreated and disrespected more than any other team in college football. They HATE ESPN. Even more than y'all do. Being left out would convince them that the conspiracy is real.
And FWIW, the arguments about common opponents makes me smile a bit.
1983.
Florida beats Miami 28-3, the Cane's only loss.
Auburn beats Florida, 28-21, and finishes 11-1, just like Miami.
Miami is ranked #2 at season's end, and goes on to defeat Nebraska for its first MNC.
It's not like common opponents have never been ignored before. Picking MNC teams has always been a drunken, incestuous, popularity contest crossed with a Macular Degeneration Society dart tourney.
