The nightmare matchup for Michigan would be a team with a bigger, athletic guard that can shutdown Stauskas (someone like Marble for Iowa, who totally dominated Stauskas in Iowa City) plus a bigger front line that could expose Michigan's weak front line of Morgan and Horford. But, honestly speaking, Michigan really has been getting a lot of breaks when it comes to timely shots at the end of games and opponents missing their shots at the end (see the Illinois and OSU games in the BTT for recent examples), such that if Michigan hits a cold streak and/or doesn't get those breaks, it really could be an early exit in the NCAAs.
The fact that they're being considered as the last #1 seed really is mind-boggling to me--there are plenty of teams that are being slotted as #3 or #4 seeds that I would take in a heartbeat against Michigan in a straight-up bet on a neutral floor.
