2014: A top 3 wish list

Peppers, Watson, and Blanding on a pure talent perspective (would say Hand but he ain't coming here). As for the three combining need and talent I would say Drake Harris, Braden Smith (doesn't seem likely though, so Orlando Brown or Damian Prince?), and McMillan.

Watson and Blanding mentioned the most so far. I have to put Watson too because I think he is a stud and it's hard to win NC games w/out one behind center. Besides, I think landing him carries some weight landing other studs. Blanding is just a straight up baller, very much an elite player and we still need depth there...putting him with Bell...yikes. For the 3rd, yes Peppers is a total stud but we landed some very good DB's last year and already have Webb in '14 so hard to see the need as much. Therefore McMillian is my 3rd. Arguably as elite as Peppers but at a greater position of need.

1.) Watson
2.) Blanding
3.) McMillian

1) Watson - could take us to the next level of greatness on offense after Braxton has graduated
2) J.Jones - the MUST get prospect in this class, IMO
3T) Blanding/Hurd - would bring a new dimension to their respective side of the ball if they were to sign with us

Honorable mention (in no particular order): Lattimore, Hood, McMillian, Garrett, Booker, Peppers, Hand, any elite OT's

I must admit, I haven't done my due diligence on watching film of most of the boys from Georgia yet, so my list could change a bit, but LOVE the caliber of players we are in on. Truly elite level of talent.

As much as I love Watson's game & want him in this class, I think some may be sleeping on what J.T. Barrett brings to the table.....

Good point. But I'd still lock up Watson if I could only do that with 3 players. His numbers are unreal and just seems to have that "it" factor. I'd love nothing more than an ongoing debate on our starter between those 2.

Barrett isn't the quality of recruit Watson is...and also just tore up his knee pretty bad.. to rely on one guy coming off that injury to carry the offense post Braxton is extremely risky

We'll just have to re-visit this in a few years....
