Do you just have a rolodex of excuses? This is getting ridiculous.
With regard to #1, I do not think that Tommy has any idea who he is putting in the game is just looking for somebody to put in a game whether it makes a difference or not.1) Dakich with the great callout of Crean regarding his ridiculous hockey-style substitutions that take no regard for the feel of the game. Hartmann scored 8 straight points and then sits at the 15:00 minute mark.
2) jackass Tom is out on the court and nearly helped trap the Wisconsin ball-handler in the corner. Wisconsin fans rightfully on him for that...now for the refs to knock that crap off.
edit- to follow on point 1, IU hasn't scored in 4 minutes since the subs. Dakich all over it.
Well I thought UM would be playing worse now than they are without LeVert, I was surprised that they hung with UW and at Sparty the way they did. They lost those games but to me the way they played suggests they will manage to get some good wins in the near future. They may not make the tournament, but Beilein has already shown he can get that team to compete at a high level without LeVert so I'm not going to count them out just yet.
Joe Lunardi's new bracket has 7 B1G teams making the dance: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology/_/iteration/220
Midwest
2) Wisconsin
8) Michigan St.
South
7) Ohio St.
East
4) Maryland
7) Indiana
West
10) Iowa
11) Purdue
I didn't, but that game does make it a little less likely that UM will make it. Clearly they have an uphill battle now, and Beilein will have to get that team to surprise a few opponents to get in. But regardless of who makes it, I do think 7 teams should make it from the B1G.Um....catch tonight's game against Iowa? And it was in Ann Arbor, to make matters worse (if that was possible) for your prediction.
Well, Illinois did beat Baylor on a neutral court earlier in the season, and Baylor is now likely to be a top-15 team in the next poll. A step back for MSU, but a step forward for Illinois. That is why it is going to be so hard to keep the B1G from having several NCAA tourney teams, one team's loss is another's gain, there are a lot of teams in the league that can end up with resumes worthy of inclusion in the field of 68.Sparty loses at home to Illinois.
Nah, can't convince me this league is good and worthy of 7 teams this year.
