2014-2015 B1G Men's Basketball

The addition of Maryland and Rutgers, I think will make the BIG a strong conference.... More so with Maryland and not to much to say about Rutgers yet. But the way Wisconsin is playing right now they seem to be the team to beat but i agree - the BIG is up for grabs, right up to the end. And the Buckeyes get the Badgers at home, last game of the season. I hope Thad can get this season turned around. It seems a lot of negative things are coming out against Thad and the Buckeyes. Never thought i would see all of that.

Rutgers brings a strong trolling presence for the Pedsters. That alone (along with solid academics) makes them a solid contributor.

PSU coach Pat Chambers was not happy with the officiating in last night's game against MSU: http://www.lansingstatejournal.com/...hambers-technical-foul-spartans-win/22145041/
"It's probably four years of frustration," Chambers said. "... I just think people look at Penn State very differently. And I'm a little tired of it."
Poor Pedsters. Everyone is out to get them.

:roll1:

Maybe Chambers can call up Art Briles and the two of them can have a cheese and whine party.

I saw the Chambers incident.

I think Chambers is a good guy and good coach, but he was a little over-the-top. Surprised he didn't get tossed. But certainly not the first time a coach's frustration has boiled out to the refs. It happens.

Assembly Hall (IU) is a bitch of a place to play when the students are in session.

Hoosiers rollin' early, but still play that stupid/fast style so Crean can easily blow it.
Yeah. Do not want to be a ranked team going there. Virtually impossible.

On their way to 15-2 in their last 17 at home, against a ranked opponent. Crazy. (Even more so considering their coach could screw up a cup of coffee)

You can call me nuts, but I think Crean is doing a good coaching job this year. The 5-out offense really plays to their strengths and lack of big men. For such a young team, they rarely turn the ball over and don't foul a lot. The defense still stinks and is the reason they won't compete for the conference title, but they are better than everyone expected.
