Surprised I didn't see any official topic to discuss this year's team- I went back a few pages, mods merge if I missed anything.

Official Roster was updated today.

Also, as Oh8ch pointed out in his thread, Trevor Thompson was denied his appeal to play this year after transferring from Virginia Tech.

McDonald? Matta has praised him in the past, too, moreso than Trey really deserved considering his mediocre play from what I have seen. Best case scenario is Lee and Amir handle the C spot themselves against good teams.

Wyoming? I have no idea why they would hate Ohio State more than some neighboring school. However, being hated here is a good thing; it means your team has been doing something right (i.e. like winning) and the other states are just jealous.

Not sure how it happened, but the Ohio State portion of the Big Ten men’s basketball schedule -- which Big Ten Network will release at 6 p.m. Thursday night -- appeared on the Buckeyes’ website about 6 tonight.

So ..... here you go.

With 14 teams now in the Big Ten, Ohio State will play five teams twice and eight teams once, for a total of 18 games. Here’s the breakdown:

Home and away: Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Penn State, Purdue

Home only: Illinois, Maryland, Nebraska, Wisconsin.

Away only: Minnesota, Northwestern, Rutgers, Michigan State.

The Buckeyes play their first two and three of their last four Big Ten games at home. In between, however, they have two stretches, in January and February, where they play four of five games on the road.
