2013 Week 9 B1G FB Open Thread

Some teams have a run oriented spread.
Some teams have a pass oriented spread.

UNL has what I would call a palsy spread.

Is that the kind of spread that's edible?

Buying into the hype much?

B1G has 4 wide receivers in the top 50 for national receptions.
Miami- NONE.

B1G has 2 QBs inside the Top 15 for passing efficiency.
Morris comes in at #25

B1G has 2 runningbacks inside the Top 5 for rushing
Duke Johnson comes in at #17

B1G has 4 WR's inside the top 30 in recieving yards.
Miami - 1 comes in at #47

B1G has 4 players inside the Top 50 for Total Offense.
Miami - NONE

Miami simply has Duke Johnson and thats it. They are an average offensive team that doesn't even match up against playmakers in this "weak conference" you think the B1G is. So please, show me these playmakerS Miami has, statistically, that the B1G dont? Oh wait, you can't.
Well when you beat up on subpar teams all the time, the stats are inflated.

Which is pretty much how I feel when scUM is on.

True, but the silver lining in continuing to root for them is that if they drop several between now and The Game, they'll go into it without much hope or expectations.....can't get to enjoy the misery of a real soul crushing under such circumstances.

If they somehow manage to squeak their way into it without dropping another game, they'll be playing for something. That's when you rip their souls out. The only Ohio State-Michigan game that I went to in the 90s was Springs Slips. I want them to live that!

You mean teams like Savannah State, Florida ATL, S. Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia Tech (who has only beaten: Elon, Duke, UNC, and Cuse)?

Yes, you are correct. Miami does beat up on subpar teams.

They should have 2 losses as it is if they hadn't pulled magic out of their asses.
