2013 Week 15/16 CFB Open Thread

They beat UGA when UGA was mostly at full strength. They beat Florida handily before the team quit on Muschump.

If we're going to give credit to Ohio state for beating NW when they were ranked 16, I have no problem taking the scenario into account when they beat certain teams. Kentucky and Tennecheat were bad teams, but Ole Piss was decent and aTm had one of the best offenses in the nation and they shut them down.

Mizzou might be the one team in the SEC that actually plays defense.

I give Ohio State no credit for beating NW as a #16 team. The only kind of credit I give OSU is they played NW in the 1 game where they had their top RB, who killed us. Other than that NW is not bowl eligible, and I can't claim that as a good win.

Mizzou beat Florida before they quit on Muschamp, but it was after most of the injuries had set in. They beat UGA when UGA was missing their top playmakers on offense and already had no defense. aTm has no good wins. I was falling for aTm until I looked at their schedule; they lost to EVERY good or decent team they played. Their best win: Vandy (by 32), then Miss St (by 10), Ole Miss (by 3) and Arkansas (by 12). Mizzou did shut down a pretty freaking good aTm offense, but they couldn't score on a REALLY bad aTm defense. The only teams that put up less points on aTm was UTEP, SMU and Vandy, and they played Arky, Sam Houston State and Rice.
