No B1G open thread this week since the only game there is already has its own thread. This is the place to discuss the CCGs for the lesser conferences along with other miscellaneous happenings.

GO BUCKS!

Watching the BCS show and Herbie seems to be the only one really defending Ohio State being at #2. Interesting though that up to this point not ONE mention by anyone that they have won 24 straight games and undefeated in the regular season two years in a row. NOT. ONE. WORD. Palmer thinks that they have to "blow out" MSU to be consider for a national title shot.

Here's hoping our beloved BUCKS take care of business on Saturday.

Of course they're not going to speak about the obvious choice for an OSU/FSU title game...not when theres the opportunity to relive "The Greatest Finish of All Time!!!!!111SECSECSEC" I'm sure theres a talking head somewhere dreaming about FSU getting beaten by Duke, Michigan State somehow finding an offense and beating the Buckeyes, and then getting a rematch of Auburn/'Bammer. Screw that noise, this is one season where a playoff won't be needed I think, two most deserving teams will be playing.

They have a $2.25B investment in the SEC! Do they make a public disclaimer to that effect before discussing this?

We really need to bolt to FOX and join the PAC. Think about it. FSN will immediately have uninterrupted college football programs in a contiguous line (not so much as a one state break) from New York to Los Angeles, not to mention the one conference whose schools--top to bottom--truly have national appeal and national alumni bases. It would severely weaken the espn monopoly.

Finebaum says the national narrative is AGAINST Auburn and the SEC.

My sides hurt.
