2013 Week 1 CFB Open Thread

Seriously, every top notch punter around the country should find out where Bollman is coaching and work like hell to get noticed by that school. Can you imagine the numbers that a guy could put up over his career if he spent all four years in a Bollman offense that doesn't get tOSU level of talent? Could really be the stuff of legend.

I've never seen Arizona's FieldTurf until today. I really hope no one at Ohio State or anyone in the Big Ten gets any ideas to copy the Wildcats.

I'm speaking of the shadow text that goes from one end of the field to the other (maybe 20 to 20).

Why would anyone bring in Jim Bollman as an offensive coordinator? I mean, seriously? I think sparty had their little transitory window of success thanks to dickrod, but they're about to go back to being sparty. They're gonna be BAD on offense this year.

Because a lot of college athletics has to deal with covering your boy or hiring them (look at our staff near the end of the Tressel era, who held the positions and where they went after OSU).

I used to be an assistant college soccer coach in the ACC and was also an assistant AD in the Pac-12 and you'd be shocked how many unqualified people get assistant coaching jobs (tons in Olympic sports) because their boy (or a relative) is the head guy.
