Ban rescinded for Chris McCain

Good call by the Pac 12, the hit was just a solid tackle that stood the QB up. The kid didn't launch nor did he go helmet-to-helmet on purpose. The ref'ing crew needs to be accountable for this ejection as it certainly did sway the entire output of the game (as NW went on to score a TD on the drive in which McCain was ejected).

What I do question is whether or not the play wasn't reviewed because I clearly remember a pause in action and the ref saying "After further review..."

The two incompletions were a deep out that the receiver caught but was ruled out of bounds, even though it appeared he may have gotten his back foot down in bounds, the other was a quick out to the flat that was caught and then dropped when the receiver got hit. Every single pass was where it needed to be. Also forgot to mention he had a running TD too. Absolutely ridiculous debut. Pleasant post-game interview too. Seems like a good kid.

Everything I've heard or read about Jameis Winston indicates he's a terrific young man. Much as I revile the Criminoles, it's hard to root against this kid.
